E&O Submission FAQs

See the Agency E&O Submission Instructions and Agent E&O Submission Instructions to assist you in determining what information and sections of your Errors & Omissions Policy (in addition to the Certificate of Insurance) may need to be submitted to ICS. You will be asked to answer a few simple questions about your licence(s) and your coverage. Based on your answers, you will get the submission information tailored to your situation.

Yes. ICS is not associated with Apexa. Your E&O Certificate of Insurance must be uploaded to your ICS online portal account.

You will receive reminders until ICS approves the Certificate of Insurance. At this point you will receive an email confirming that it has been approved. You can check your online portal to see the status of the submission.

E&O Certificates of Insurance are processed in the order in which they are received. The standard timeline is 15-20 business days.

 

If you wish to seek reinstatement, you will be charged a $50 administrative fee:

  • Log into the ICS Licensing Portal and upload your E&O Certificate of Insurance. For help, see the ICS webpage, Errors & Omissions Submission Assistance & FAQs.
  • Ensure the E&O Certificate of Insurance you provide shows your new period of coverage, that has an:
    • effective date that is on or before the current expiry date
    • expiry date that is past the current expiry date

 

Credit card (Mastercard, VISA and American Express) is the only accepted method of online payment. **We do not accept debit, pre paid credit cards or gift cards.
